Following the emergence of more aggressive and widespread tax scams, the IRS issued another warning to taxpayers to remain on high alert and protect themselves against the deceitful tactics that scammers use to trick people. Never provide personal information, financial or otherwise, to suspicious websites or strangers calling. The IRS will not call about taxes; they will contact you by mail.
